This data is sent to Firebase Analytics and is used to improve our app and provide better services. This information cannot be linked back to individual users and includes:

2.2 Item Images for Identification: When you take photos of antiques or items to identify them, these images are:

• Temporarily sent to our servers for item identification and price estimation processing
• Processed by our identification service to match your item with our database
• Not stored on our servers after the identification process is complete
• May be temporarily cached on your device for performance purposes

2.3 Subscription and Purchase Data: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat helps us manage your subscription status and entitlements. All payment processing is handled securely by Apple through their In-App Purchase system:

• Subscription status and history are managed by RevenueCat
• Device identifiers are used to sync your subscription across devices
• Payment information (such as credit card details) is processed exclusively by Apple and is never accessible to us or RevenueCat

Estate Sale Scanner does not:

• Store your item images on our servers after identification
• Collect personal information beyond what's necessary for subscriptions
• Track your personal inventory or private collection data
• Access your payment information (handled exclusively by Apple)
• Access your device's photo library without your explicit permission
• Collect location data or GPS coordinates

4. Image Processing and Privacy

When you scan an item in Estate Sale Scanner:

• The image is sent to our servers for identification processing
• Our system analyzes the image to identify the item and returns matching results and pricing data
• The image is not permanently stored on our servers after processing
• Images may be temporarily cached on your device for a better user experience
• You can delete locally cached images at any time through your device settings

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information in the following ways:

• 5.1 Analytics: To analyze trends and gather demographic information for aggregate use. We use anonymized data sent to Firebase Analytics to understand feature adoption and improve app performance.
• 5.2 Item Identification: To provide you with accurate antique identification and pricing results.
